Vd. Gaytri Kalia

Vaidya (Prof.) Gaytri Kalia, PhD & MD in Ayurveda from world famous Banaras Hindu University (BHU),Varanasi, India is an Ayurvedic Physician, Educationist, Researcher, and Healer. She has the experience of practicing as an Ayurveda consultant and Panchkarma specialist for over 18 years. Her expertise is in the field of mental health and has successfully treated patients of depression, stress, anxiety, insomnia, burnout & other chronic disorders. She is also a visiting Professor at European Institute of Scientific Research in Ayurveda (EISRA), Netherlands: ICAU, Belgium and Ayurveda UK, England with experience of imparting the essence of true Ayurveda to the western world.

She was awarded ‘Anmol Ratan’ Award for excellent contribution in the field of Ayurveda by Ayurveda Drugs Manufacturers Association, Punjab, India. She also chaired a session at India – Africa Health Summit, an International symposium organized by Confederation of Indian Industry ( CII) on behalf of Government of India held at Pragati Maidan New Delhi. Vd. Gaytri was invited as Subject Expert by Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi for syllabus revision meeting for undergraduate & postgraduate courses from time to time.

She delivered Guest lecturers as Resource Person in training Program for Panchakarma Therapists from Deptt. of AYUSH, Govt. of Haryana, India. She has authored a chapter on ‘Agni’-Biological fire for a book under publication by Rashtriya Ayurved Vidyapeeth (RAV) New Delhi.

She also contributed as an expert on ‘Dictionary of Ayurveda’ by Commission for Scientific & Technical Terminology (CSTT), Government of India. She is also a reviewer of Ayurveda research articles for JAIM, an international peer review journal. She provided consultations & delivered Guest lectures to international students from USA, Canada, Japan & other countries at Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram, Rishikesh, Center of Akhanda Yoga, Ottawa, Canada. She was also visiting Professor at DMC centre, Indian Red Cross Society NHQ, New Delhi on invitation by AYUSH, Government of India. She also worked as Executive Editor, Newsletter CBPACS, a quarterly Newsletter of the Government Ayurveda Institute.

After having served as Associate Professor & Researcher in a renowned Chaudhary Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan, Government Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital in Delhi, India, Vd. Gaytri Kalia is eager to offer her services in Canada.
